Life Unbxd began with a love for making long before kitchen boards were ever part of the vision.
I’ve always been drawn to the process of creating something from nothing. Watching an idea take shape, learning through each stage, and finding fulfillment in the quiet rhythm of working with my hands. Even when a piece didn’t turn out as planned, there was meaning in the process itself.
Life Unbxd was created when I finally gave that passion a chance to become more than a hobby to build something lasting, intentional, and deeply personal. What started as creative exploration slowly evolved into a brand rooted in craftsmanship and care.
How It Became What It Is
Life Unbxd wasn’t originally meant to be a kitchen brand.
The early idea centered around hands on creativity, small project kits and thoughtfully made boxes designed to hold meaningful items and memories. Keepsake pieces meant to be opened, revisited, and cherished.
As the work evolved, so did the direction. Woodworking naturally became the foundation, and the kitchen revealed itself as the place where objects are used most honestly daily, imperfectly, and with purpose. It’s where moments are shared, rituals are formed, and memories quietly live.
That shift wasn’t forced. It was guided by the material, the process, and a growing understanding of what these pieces could mean in someone else’s life.
